Sani Resort, Greece

If there is a place where my soul and heart are absolutely tranquil, it is in this resort an hour's drive away from the Thessaloniki airport in the beautiful Chalkidiki region of North-Eastern Greece. My boyfriend and I have been here once before, in 2016, and we’ve decided to come back another time after two years because, yes, it just is that perfect of a holiday getaway.

The Sani resort offers a wide array of restaurants and bars all over the extensive grounds, most of which are included in the dine-around program, so you can choose which type of cuisine you’d like that night, reserve a table via the very handy hotel app and enjoy that going-out feeling every single night - no matter what kind of culinary experience you’re craving.

We stayed in the Sani Club part of the resort, with the sweet-smelling pine forest right behind and the most beautifully clear, turquoise waters right in front of us. There isn’t much I can recommend except for you to enjoy your time here as much as you can. The ever-friendly and incredibly conscientious staff will no doubt leave any wish unattended to.

Breathe, eat, drink, read, hike, and relax as much as you possibly can. Make sure to check out the numerous mindfulness and sports options the resort offers. Try something new, like archery, windsurfing, or paddleboarding on the blue waters. Or stick to your favorite sunrise meditation class. Be grateful above all.
